About Keep The Boss Fire The Boss
      1. What is Keep The Boss Fire The Boss™?
Keep The Boss Fire The Boss is a personalised career management service that utilizes a proprietary, advanced algorithmic recommendation engine to help people determine if they could gain improved job satisfaction and career advancement, either by remaining with their existing employer, or seeking career opportunities in another organisation.

If we determine that a person's current employment is creating a less than adequate experience, we provide suggested bespoke vacancies tailored to the individual, from our global database containing over 16 million available jobs.

KTBFTB provides a vital personal resource which guides a person's career decisions. It is a personal mentor, providing impartial, objective advice and guidance to help a person develop their career and improve their personal well-being at work.

The service is part of the Vantage Insight group of companies, which developed the predictive analytics concept of Employee Intelligence, which is delivered via Employee-Intelligence.com. This helps businesses improve employee engagement, the leadership skills of its managers, while tracking a raft of critical business intelligence.

      2. What do the results tell me?
The report provides an impartial, objective assessment of whether you should stay with your current employer, or whether your personal career aspirations and well-being could be improved by seeking employment in another organisation. We analyse your responses to our question sets and offer a 'third eye' to your work context, offering perceptions beyond what is usually only directly visible, or tangibly experienced in your workplace.

We help you make sense of the day to day mayhem you find yourself dealing with at work. If analysis shows you would be best served by changing jobs, then we highlight suitable vacancies which match your career aspirations. If analysis shows that your immediate best career decision is to remain with your existing employer, then we provide you with coping strategies and guidance on how to 'manage your manager' and 'manage upwards'.

      3. What technology is behind the service?
Our Boss Boffins have worked their magic to create a wonder of technological wizardry far beyond the understanding of mere mortals, or so they would have us believe! We know that in reality, over many years they have diligently developed and built a huge dataset from our Employee Intelligence research engine and integrated this with our worldwide jobs database containing 16 million vacancies, and with an average 8.2 new vacancies added every second.

We overlay this data with a sophisticated analytics and algorithmic recommendation engine, devised by our in-house Human Resource and Information Technology professionals. We then constantly refine and enhance the software and algorithms which underpin the system, ensuring that the reports and recommendations will be relevant for you not just today but for your future career aspirations.

      4. How is this going to help me with my career?
According to the Holmes and Rahe Stress Scale and corresponding Life Change Indexes, stressful events have a detrimental impact on our health and well-being. Contained within the scale are a number of work related events, such as changes to lines of work, changes of responsibilities, outstanding personal achievement, trouble with the boss etc.

Each of these events have a 'Life Change Unit' which indicates the stress associated with each event. If you are unfortunate to experience the combined work related stress events, then your stress score would equate to 257 points, which has a moderate risk of illness. In short it means that working in the wrong environment can cause you ill health as well as personal lack of fulfilment.

There are times when it feels like there must be a better place to work, or a better manager than the one you have at present. The difficulty is, how do you know if this is the case, when the only point of reference you have is your current boss or employer? Is the grass greener on the other side, or is it in fact more barren?

This is where Keep The Boss Fire The Boss helps you. We analyse your current work context and let you know if it really is as bad as it seems, and what you can personally do to improve your working life, either by managing the situation with your current employer, or helping you find employment in a better environment.

      5. Do I have to be in employment to take the test or use the service?
Ideally yes, however, you can base your answers on your previous employer if you are presently unemployed.

      6. When can I expect to get my results?
As soon as you complete the assessment you will receive an email link to your first set of results and a selection of job vacancies. Over the next few weeks we will then help you refine the analysis to pinpoint exactly what your best career options are likely to be.

      7. How do I see my results?
